About me

I believe good software design is not a question of tools, but of mindset.

I started my career studying mechatronics in the ever-present Automotive industry in Germany. It was during that time that I first got into contact with LabVIEW as a tool to quickly build powerful measurement applications.

I went on to work for National Instruments for 3 years after graduating, sharing my passion for the tool and the platform as an Applications Engineer, teaching and supporting customers, and later as a Field Sales Engineer which gave me the opportunity to work more closely with customers. During that time I discovered that my true passion is in designing and putting together test systems.

I then joined German Alliance Partner AED Engineering where I helped build the Systems Integration business from the ground up. We built many cool test benches, with the highlights being a LED Headlamp test system and a HUD Tester.
It was here that I learned a lot about architecture, Test system design and to get the most out of a system, delivering plenty of bang for the buck to the customer. It was also here, that I became a CLA.

I am a proud supporter of the language and have been active in the LV User Group Munich and am now one of the organizers of the Kanata LabVIEW user Group, delivering knowledge to my fellow programmers and continuously learning new things
